Our Vision and Goals
Who are we?
The Micro-Credentials Association aims to strengthen the relationship between education and employment in a sustainable manner by popularizing the use of micro-credentials in the fields of skill acquisition and employment in Türkiye and internationally. All forms of learning, formal, informal and non-formal, are within the scope of the association's activities.
In this context, the association aims to support a lifelong learning culture and ensure that individuals of all ages and positions prove their competence with the qualifications they acquire, thus increasing their employability and the added value they will provide to the economy, and contributing to equal opportunities in education. The association also leads the way in establishing strong collaborations between the private sector and education actors by encouraging the development of micro-qualifications tailored to the needs of the business world.
Our vision:
The Micro-Credentials Association has a vision of a society where microcredentialing has become an integral part of lifelong learning and career development processes in Türkiye and around the world, where individuals and institutions are equipped with flexible, accessible and recognized qualifications, and where it offers high added value to the economy. In line with this vision, it aims to play a leading role in the formation of a scientific infrastructure that encourages innovation and transformation in the labor market and education actors in the field of micro-credentials in Türkiye, and is integrated with global studies, primarily in the EU.
Our Mission:

To increase and disseminate the recognition of micro-credentials in Türkiye and international platforms.

To develop, update and ensure the acceptance of quality standards in order to ensure the validity and reliability of micro-credentials.

To increase the contribution of micro-credentials to individual and institutional development by collaborating with educational institutions, the business world, employee and job seeker representatives and public institutions.

To contribute to the legislative studies to be created regarding micro-qualifications.

To provide supportive training and certification programs for individuals to discover their own learning paths and document their competencies with micro-qualifications.

To develop lifelong learning opportunities by integrating technology and innovation into learning and competence acquisition processes in Türkiye.
